I'm Rob, a wildlife photographer based on Aotearoa New Zealand’s North Island. My passion for the environment and the natural world, stretches back into my childhood in the UK.

I've had the privilege to travel New Zealand, and the globe witnessing some of natures true wonders. Some of these I share with you here in my portfolio.

A couple of times a year I will open my store for a short time, to sell a select set of my premium images.

An artic tern flying over the North Sea at Long Nanny, Northumberland with its wings spread wide and holding a fish in its beak.

When I’m not out in the wild watching the natural world with my camera, you’ll find me at home writing articles or editing images.

In 2024 I had the opportunity to present my first major exhibition. I chose to present images from the environment close to me, “The Birds of the Manawatu Estuary”. Some of the images from the exhibition can been seen in the portfolio section.

However, through my travels particularly in 2025, I have been encouraged by the other photographers, videographers and conservationists to use my photography and love of story telling to educate and share my love of the wild to a wider audience.
